Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United.

Tottenham Hotspur interim manager Cristian Stellini could be tempted into a tactical switch for Sunday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United at St James' Park.

The Lilywhites lost Clement Lenglet to a muscular problem in last weekend's painful defeat to Bournemouth, joining Lucas Moura (suspended), Rodrigo Bentancur (knee), Emerson Royal (knee), Yves Bissouma (ankle) and Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) on the absentee list, but there is a chance that he could be involved.

It remains to be seen if Ben Davies can recover from his hamstring problem in time for Sunday's fixture too, so a change to a back four may be in order, especially after Davinson Sanchez was booed by his own supporters last weekend.

Eric Dier and Cristian Romero could therefore form a two-man wall in front of Hugo Lloris, as Pedro Porro and Ivan Perisic drop into deeper full-back roles.

A 4-4-2 setup would not impact Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Oliver Skipp's midfield partnership, while Dejan Kulusevski can expect to hold the fort on the right-hand side as ever.

However, the time is nigh for Arnaut Danjuma to earn his first start for the club on the left, having come off the bench to score a well-taken equaliser in the defeat to Bournemouth.

Such an approach would see Harry Kane and Son Heung-min resume their deadly double act as a strike partnership, as the latter aims to score in three successive Premier League games for the first time this season.

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup: Lloris; Porro, Romero, Dier, Perisic; Kulusevski, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Danjuma; Kane, Son
