Spain boss Luis Enrique names Raul de Tomas in his starting side for Sunday's World Cup qualifier with Sweden.

Spain boss Luis Enrique has kept faith with Raul de Tomas in his starting side for Sunday's key World Cup 2022 qualification contest with Sweden.

De Tomas only made his debut for La Roja against Greece on Thursday, and the 27-year-old has been given the nod over Alvaro Morata to lead the line in the Group B clash.

Enrique has made six changes to the side that started against Greece, with Dani Carvajal, Inigo Martinez, Jose Gaya, Koke, Rodri and Morata dropping out of the first XI.

Cesar Azpilicueta, Pau Torres and Jordi Alba have come into the defence, while Carlos Soler and Sergio Busquets return to the midfield.

There is also a spot in the final third of the field for Dani Olmo, but Pablo Sarabia, who scored the winner against Greece, retains his position in attack.

Gavi had been a slight doubt due to a facial injury, but the Barcelona midfielder has been passed fit and starts in central midfield.

SPAIN XI: Simon; Azpilicueta, Laporte, P Torres, Alba; Gavi, Busquets, Soler; Sarabia, De Tomas, Olmo
