Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Spain could line up for Tuesday's Euro 2024 qualifying Group A clash with Scotland.

Spain manager Luis de la Fuente is reportedly considering freshening the team up for Tuesday's Euro 2024 qualifying Group A showdown with Scotland at Hampden Park.

The injured trio of Pedri, Bryan Gil and Gerard Moreno were all forced to withdraw prior to their 3-0 win over Norway, but La Roja came through that opening triumph unscathed.

Fewer than two minutes after being brought on for his senior international debut at the age of 32, Joselu had a brace to his name against Norway, netting from close range twice just 106 seconds apart.

However, the Espanyol attacker should not trouble captain Alvaro Morata for the number nine spot, but Dani Olmo could drop out for Nico Williams as he continues his comeback from injury.

Mikel Oyarzabal is threatening Gavi's place on the left, but the Barcelona protege should retain his place for the time being, and De la Fuente is facing perhaps his biggest dilemma in the number 10 role.

Iago Aspas lasted just 58 minutes in his first Spain start since 2019 at the weekend, and either Dani Ceballos or Fabian Ruiz - who set up Joselu's header - could force their way into the first XI.

Mikel Merino and Rodri will expect to link arms in the engine room once more, after the latter somehow escaped giving away a penalty for a reckless challenge on Arsenal's Martin Odegaard.

Pedro Porro and Jose Gaya could provide fresh legs in the full-back areas, but Aymeric Laporte and Nacho Fernandez should continue in front of Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Spain possible starting lineup: Arrizabalaga; Porro, Fernandez, Laporte, Gaya; Merino, Rodri, Ceballos; Williams, Morata, Gavi
