Real Madrid injury update vs. Villarreal - Aurelien Tchouameni return date

Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Villarreal.

La Liga champions Real Madrid will be aiming to make it 10 straight victories in Spain's top flight when they head to Villarreal on Sunday night.

Carlo Ancelotti's side were confirmed as title winners earlier this month and have since overcome Granada and Alaves, scoring nine times in the process and conceding zero.

Los Blancos will finish their domestic campaign with matches against Villarreal and Real Betis before tackling Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final on June 1.

Alaba suffered an ACL injury in the reverse match against Villarreal last December, and the Austria international will not be available for the capital side until later this year.

Tchouameni will miss the end of the La Liga season due to a stress injury in his left foot which he picked up against Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final, and he faces a battle to be available for the final of the European Cup on June 1.
