Manchester City are reportedly willing to slash Jack Grealish's asking price in a bid to force through an exit this summer.

Manchester City are reportedly prepared to sell Jack Grealish for a cut-price fee.

Grealish experienced a frustrating season in 2024-25, starting just 16 of his 32 appearances in all competitions.

In fact, the 29-year-old played just one minute in Man City’s final six Premier League games of the campaign.

After falling out of favour under Pep Guardiola, Grealish is set to be left out of Man City’s squad for the upcoming Club World Cup in the USA.

The Citizens are keen to offload the winger this summer despite the fact that he still has two years left to run on his contract.

Man City slash Grealish asking price

According to The Sun, Man City are willing to sell Grealish at a cut-price fee in a bid to find him a new club in quick time.

The report claims that the Citizens will entertain offers in the region of £40m, representing a significant drop from the £100m they paid to sign him from Aston Villa in the summer of 2021.

Grealish will likely have to accept a pay cut because it is unlikely that any of his potential suitors will match his current £300,000-a-week salary.

The player’s representatives are believed to be working to find a new destination that can offer him the chance to play regular football.

Who could sign Grealish this summer?

Aston Villa are believed to be interested in a move to bring Grealish back to his boyhood club ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Everton, Newcastle United and West Ham United are among the other Premier League clubs that have been linked with a potential transfer.

Meanwhile, Serie A champions Napoli could offer Grealish the chance to play his club football outside of England for the first time in his career.

Grealish has scored 17 goals and provided 23 assists in 157 competitive appearances during his time at the Etihad Stadium.

The attacker has helped the club win three Premier League titles, the Champions League, the FA Cup, the Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.
