Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim is reportedly determined to bring Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze to Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.
The 26-year-old has been in strong form for Palace during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring seven goals and registering 11 assists in 36 appearances in all competitions, including three goals and eight assists in the Premier League.
Eze has a contract at Selhurst Park until June 2027, but it is understood that he could be on the move during this summer's market, with Manchester City and Liverpool believed to be admirers of the England international.
However, according to The Sun, Amorim is desperate to win the race for Eze, with the Man United head coach believing that he would be the ideal signing to operate as a number 10 in his 3-4-3 formation.
The report claims that Aston Villa could rival the Red Devils for Eze if they decide against signing Marcus Rashford from the Red Devils on a permanent basis during the summer transfer window.

Man United 'pushing to sign Eze' this summer
Palace are said to be open to offers of around £50m for the player who was signed from Queens Park Rangers in August 2020.
Eze has represented the Eagles on 160 occasions in all competitions, scoring 33 goals and registering 28 assists in the process, including 29 goals and 23 assists in 141 Premier League appearances.
The attacker represented England at Euro 2024, and he was named in Thomas Tuchel's first Three Lions squad, featuring against Latvia in the 2026 World Cup qualification fixture at the end of March.
Eze is not certain of a spot in the squad for the 2026 World Cup, though, and a high-profile switch to Old Trafford could boost his chances of being involved in next year's competition.

How many attackers could Man United sign this summer?
Man United are believed to be making strong progress when it comes to a deal for Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Matheus Cunha, who is seemingly the club's top target at this moment in time.
A new striker is also set to arrive, with Ipswich Town's Liam Delap and Napoli's Victor Osimhen both believed to be on the club's shortlist, so it is possible that three new attackers will be brought to the club this summer.
Eze is certainly capable of featuring as one of the number 10s in a 3-4-3 formation, while the same can also be said for Cunha, with Delap or Osimhen then potentially leading the line for the 20-time English champions.
Antony, Rashford and Jadon Sancho are all set to leave this summer, while Alejandro Garnacho may also depart, as there remain serious question marks surrounding his suitability for the current system being played at Old Trafford.
