Robertson, Jota - Liverpool injury news and return dates for Wolves clash

Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

For the final time in a Liverpool tracksuit, Jurgen Klopp mans the Anfield touchline on Sunday, when the Reds conclude their Premier League season against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The German's last away game in charge was a chaotic affair on Monday night, as they blew a 3-1 lead in the final 10 minutes to draw 3-3 with Champions League-bound Aston Villa.

However, Liverpool were already confirmed to finish third before the first whistle was sounded at Villa Park, and the result of Sunday's game will pale into insignificance as the Klopp farewell parade gets into full swing.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Wolves, who sit safely in 13th place before the final weekend.

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: May 19 (vs. Wolves)

Andy Robertson was nowhere to be seen in the stalemate with Villa, having picked up an unspecified problem, but he is expected to be part of the matchday squad on Sunday.

Diogo Jota

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: May 19 (vs. Wolves)

However, hip victim Diogo Jota is more of a doubt with the problem that has sidelined him since April's win over Fulham, and he may very well miss out on a reunion with his old club here.

Thiago Alcantara

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Klopp's farewell will coincide with Thiago Alcantara's Liverpool departure, as the long-term muscular victim will not be available for Sunday's game and is out of contract at the end of the season.

Joel Matip

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Likewise, ACL victim Joel Matip - who has not featured since December - will watch on from the sidelines before his anticipated exit from Anfield when his deal expires in June.

Ben Doak

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Teenage winger Ben Doak has spent the entire calendar year recovering from a knee injury sustained on Under-21s duty, and it is not clear if he will be back in time for the pre-season friendly period.

Bobby Clark

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: Unknown

Bobby Clark revealed on social media a couple of weeks ago that he would miss the rest of the season through injury, but little information has been provided on the severity of his concern.
