Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Southampton could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.

Southampton will be without two players for Saturday's Premier League clash with fellow relegated side Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

January signing Albert Gronbaek is closing in on a return from an Achilles issue, but the midfielder will not recover in time to face the Cottagers, while Charlie Taylor remains sidelined with a hip injury.

Paul Onuachu missed the Saints' 2-1 defeat to Fulham last weekend with an ankle injury, but interim boss Simon Rusk has confirmed that the striker has returned to training and is available for selection this weekend.

Rusk is set to weigh up whether to stick with Ross Stewart up front or recall either Onuachu or Cameron Archer, while in-demand attacker Tyler Dibling has started the last three games as a substitute and will be pushing for a recall at the expense of either Mateus Fernandes or Kamaldeen Sulemana.

Flynn Downes and Lesley Ugochukwu are likely to get the nod to start again in centre-midfield, which would force William Smallbone and Joe Aribo to begin as substitutes, while Fulham-linked Kyle Walker-Peters - out of contract in the summer - and Ryan Manning are set to continue as wing-backs.

A back three Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Jan Bednarek and Jack Stephens is also set to remain intact, even though Nathan Wood is pushing for a recall, while Aaron Ramsdale will retain his spot between the sticks.

Southampton possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; Harwood-Bellis, Bednarek, Stephens; Walker-Peters, Downes, Ugochukwu, Manning; Fernandes, Sulemana; Stewart
