Leeds United have allegedly identified Anderlecht playmaker Mario Stroeykens as a potential summer transfer target.
The Yorkshire giants are preparing for their return to the Premier League after winning last season's Championship title.
Despite reportedly possessing a considerable transfer budget, Daniel Farke is yet to make any additions to his first-team squad.
However, earlier this week, Leeds were linked with a big-money approach for a Strasbourg star, highlighting their level of ambition in the market.
According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, another emerging playmaker - this time from Belgium - is also on their radar.
Leeds impressed with Belgian playmaker
The report claims that Anderlecht creator Stroeykens has been earmarked as a possible addition on the back of his progress with Anderlecht.
A total of 16 goals and 15 assists have been recorded from 132 appearances in all competitions, 23 of those outings coming in Europe.
Stroeykens - a Belgium Under-21 international - can play across the forward line but he has been used most regularly in a central role.
Although he is valued by Anderlecht, Stroeykens now has just one year remaining on his contract and decisions need to be made on his future.
Anderlecht will not want to risk losing a homegrown talent on a free transfer in 2026, upping Leeds' chances of getting a deal over the line.
Rival Premier League interest
Leeds are said to have already opened discussions with the relevant parties regarding a potential transfer.
That said, West Ham United are also allegedly monitoring the situation and may be viewed as the frontrunners at this stage should they back up their admiration.
Other teams are likely to come into the equation if Stroeykens ultimately decides that he wants a move to a bigger club.
