Cristiano Ronaldo will reportedly look to leave Juventus this summer if they club fail to qualify for the Champions League.

The Old Lady were convincingly beaten 3-0 at home to fellow Serie A giants AC Milan last weekend and that result saw them slip down to fifth, with Napoli replacing them in the top four.

Ronaldo would miss a Champions League campaign for the first time in 18 years if Juve were to finish outside the top four.

Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano told talkSPORT that the 36-year-old, who has one year remaining in his contract, will ask to leave the club if he is not competing in Europe's elite competition.

Romano has also suggested that any potential suitors for Ronaldo would have to be prepared to fork out around £30m in wages, but in the current financial climate, finding a club who would be willing to pay the Portuguese forward such a salary may prove difficult.

Even though Juventus have struggled to retain the title this term, sitting 16 points behind Serie A champions Inter Milan, Ronaldo has had another stellar season in front of goal, scoring 27 times in the top-flight.

Andrea Pirlo's side are still to face Inter as well as Sassuolo and Bologna in their final three Serie A games of the season, as they attempt to climb back into the Champions League positions.
