Ole Gunnar Solksjaer favourite to be next Premier League manager to leave

After Steve Bruce became the second Premier League manager to leave their post this season, attention has already turned to who will be next to face the chop.

Bruce's time in charge of Newcastle came to an end this week as he followed Watford's Xisco Munoz through the managerial trap door after he was dismissed by the newly-promoted Hornets just seven games back in the Premier League.

Who will be the next manager to face the axe this season? The latest betting tips for the "Next Manager To Leave Post" has Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solksjaer as the favourite to be next.

Solksjaer's time in charge at Old Trafford has come under increased scrutiny after United endured a miserable run of form in losing to West Ham in the EFL Cup and Aston Villa and Leicester in the Premier League.

The Red Devils also drew with Everton in the Premier League and needed late Cristiano Ronaldo winners to see off Villarreal and Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League after below-par performances.

Solksjaer heads the betting at 2/1 to be dismissed next, ahead of new Watford boss Claudio Ranieri. The Italian suffered a 5-0 loss to Liverpool in his first game in charge and is 4/1 to be the next sacking despite only just being appointed by the impatient Watford board.

Daniel Farke was unable to save Norwich from relegation from the Premier League two seasons ago and has once again made a poor start to the campaign back in the top-flight. The German is 13/2 to get the boot at Carrow Road and be the next Premier League sacking.

New Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo has his side in fifth spot in the Premier League, but it hasn't stopped speculation from bookmakers that his reign at the club could be short-lived with quotes of 11/1 for him to the next to be dismissed.

Southampton's Ralph Hassenhuttl is 12/1 to get the boot ahead of Arsenal's Mikel Arteta at 14/1. Arteta's Gunners continue to underwhelm and find themselves in 12th spot in the Premier League after a fifth of the season.

Wolves have bounced back from a slow start to the season and as a result new boss Bruno Lage has drifted out to 16/1, the same price as Leicester's Brendan Rodgers, who has been linked with moves elsewhere.

Crystal Palace's new manager Patrick Vieira is 20/1 along with Leeds' Marcelo Bielsa, who has seen his side struggle in the early portion of the season.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel are the safest in their positions with 66/1 quotes as the price for them to be the next sacking.

Manchester City's Pep Guardiola is slightly shorter in the better at 40/1 to depart the Etihad Stadium as the next Premier League manager to leave their post.

It seems highly unlikely, but odds are on offer of 50/1 that there are no more managerial changes during the 2021/22 Premier League season.
