Reece James and Armando Broja both start for Chelsea against Everton in Sunday's Premier League fixture at Goodison Park.

Reece James and Armando Broja have both been handed starts for Chelsea against Everton in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

After Wednesday's defeat at Manchester United, head coach Mauricio Pochettino suggested that there was fatigue in the squad, a consequence of their efforts with 10 men against Brighton & Hove Albion in the previous game.

Pochettino has reacted by making several changes to his side for the trip to Goodison Park, handing starts to the likes of James and Broja.

A total of four alterations have been made with Benoit Badiashile and Conor Gallagher - who was unavailable in midweek due to suspension - also returning in defence and midfield respectively.

Thiago Silva and Levi Colwill have surprisingly dropped down to the substitutes' bench, as have Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson.

As hinted by Pochettino in Friday's press conference, each of Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku are still not considered fit enough to return after long layoffs with ankle and knee injuries.

Meanwhile, Sean Dyche has made just the one change to the Everton XI that started the 3-0 triumph over Newcastle United on Thursday night.

With Seamus Coleman missing out through injury, Ashley Young reverts to right-back, with James Garner passed fit to take his place back in midfield.

Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has also shaken off a knee issue to keep his spot between the sticks.

Everton: Pickford; Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Gueye, Garner, Doucoure; Harrison, Calvert-Lewin, McNeil
Subs: Virginia, Patterson, Godfrey, Hunt, Onana, Danjuma, Dobbin, Chermiti, Beto

Chelsea: Sanchez; James, Disasi, Badiashile, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez, Gallagher; Palmer, Broja, Mudryk
Subs: Petrovic, Silva, Colwill, Gilchrist, Maatsen, Matos, Castledine, Sterling, Jackson
