Out with the old, in with the new has been and may continue to be the theme for Brentford in the summer transfer window, as the West London outfit prepare for a significant season of change both on and off the field.

New head coach Keith Andrews is slowly becoming accustomed to life in Thomas Frank's chair, but the former set-piece guru will be entering his debut campaign as Bees manager without a couple of familiar faces.

Indeed, the Bees have pocketed around £21m through the sales of Christian Norgaard and Mark Flekken to Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen respectively, while the futures of Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa remain in doubt.

Manchester United are refusing to give up their pursuit of the former and are also understood to be keeping tabs on Wissa's future, but Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have also taken a liking to the former Lorient man.

With Norgaard gone, a vacancy opened for Liverpool's title-winning captain Jordan Henderson to fill following his departure from Ajax, while Antoni Milambo and Caoimhin Kelleher should also expect regular starts in the Brentford XI next term.
