Aston Villa will have their eyes on qualification for the Champions League in 2025-26 after missing out on Europe's top competition on the final weekend of the 2024-25 Premier League campaign.

Unai Emery's side finished sixth in England's top flight last term, meaning that they will play in the Europa League in the coming season rather than the Champions League.

Villa are currently building towards their 2025-26 Premier League opener against Newcastle United on August 16, while they will also take on Brentford and Crystal Palace before the end of next month.

It has been a relatively quiet summer transfer window thus far for Emery's side, but there are expected to be more incomings and outgoings before the market closes for business.

Yasin Ozcan has been their biggest arrival thus far, while the notable departures have been Marco Asensio and Marcus Rashford following loan spells at Villa Park last term.
