Saka, Timber - Arsenal injury list and return dates for Everton clash

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Everton.

Relying on results elsewhere to go their way, Arsenal host Everton on the final day of the season harbouring the slimmest hopes of stardom.

The Gunners did their bit last weekend by seeing off Manchester United 1-0, but Manchester City's triumph over Tottenham Hotspur in midweek leaves the Citizens two points clear at the summit.

As a result, Mikel Arteta's men must get the job done against Everton while praying for the reigning champions - who have a slightly inferior goal difference - to drop points against West Ham United if they are to step onto the podium.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their showdown with the Toffees, who will end the campaign in either 15th or 16th spot.

Bukayo Saka

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: May 19 (vs. Everton)

Once again, Bukayo Saka picked up a knock in the beating of Man United at the weekend - crashing into the advertising hoardings - but the issue is not expected to harm his chances of being fit for the final day.

Jurrien Timber

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Fitness
Possible return date: May 19 (vs. Everton)

Despite initial optimism that Jurrien Timber would be back in senior action before the end of the season, he has not played for the first team since August's ACL injury, and there is a strong chance that he could be spared for the pre-season period.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for the final day.
