Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their EFL Cup semi-final first leg with Liverpool.

Since this article was published, this game has been called off due to a coronavirus outbreak in the Liverpool squad. The first leg is now due to take place on January 13 at Anfield.

Arsenal will endeavour to bounce back from their heartbreaking defeat to Manchester City when they take on Liverpool in the first leg of their EFL Cup semi-final at the Emirates on Thursday night.

Mikel Arteta's side found themselves 1-0 up against City on Saturday thanks to Bukayo Saka's effort, but Riyad Mahrez and Rodri responded for the champions in a highly controversial battle.

The Gunners saw off the threat of Sunderland 5-1 to book their place in the last four of the EFL Cup, but their ranks will be depleted as players link up with their Africa Cup of Nations teams.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.
