Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly one of six Premier League clubs that are interested in signing Vladimir Coufal.
West Ham United have just taken the decision to release the Czech Republic international at the end of his contract.
In a near five-year stint at the London Stadium, Coufal racked up 147 appearances, contributing an impressive 19 assists.
Having ended 2024-25 as a regular under Graham Potter, it was deemed somewhat of a surprise that the 32-year-old was released when he would have preferred to remain in East London.
Nevertheless, as per Football Insider, Coufal is not short of options when it comes to remaining in England's top flight.
Which Premier League teams are chasing Coufal?
The report claims that Wolves are among the teams chasing Coufal, a consequence of Nelson Semedo being on the brink of leaving on a free transfer.
With only Rodrigo Gomes and teenager Pedro Lima as the remaining options for the right wing-back role, Wolves are seemingly attracted to acquiring Coufal as an experienced alternative.
However, Everton, Fulham, Leeds United, Sunderland and Burnley are all said to be monitoring the situation ahead of making their own moves.
Everton boss David Moyes will feel as though the Toffees are the frontrunners having already worked with the player during his time at West Ham.
That said, Coufal has previously indicated that remaining in London is his preference courtesy of his family being settled in the capital.
Who needs Coufal most?
There is an argument that Coufal improves each of the squads at the respective clubs who are interested in his services.
In fact, he may be regarded as first choice wherever he ends up, Moyes known to be a fan of his qualities and Fulham having chased him since January.
Location-wise, Wolves could be regarded as an attractive choice given their relatively-close proximity to London compared to four of the other options.
