Wolves "heartbroken" by Jota's tragic death

Jota first represented Wolves on loan during the 2017-18 campaign while he was contracted to Atletico Madrid.

A successful spell, which saw him score 18 times in all competitions, led to Wolves signing him on a permanent basis, with a long-term switch to Molineux being confirmed in 2018.

Jota went on to score 10 times during the 2018-19 campaign before managing 16 in 2019-20, which led to Liverpool bringing him to Anfield in September 2020.
