A report claims that West Bromwich Albion will make an improved bid for Jeffrey Schlupp after Leicester City turned down their initial £9m offer.

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly preparing to increase their initial £9m offer for Jeffrey Schlupp, which was quickly turned down by Premier League champions Leicester City.

It is understood that the Baggies made a move for the Ghanaian on Wednesday, but Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri was not prepared to sanction the sale of the left-sided player.

According to Sky Sports News, Baggies boss Tony Pulis is desperate to land the former Manchester United trialist this summer and will make an improved offer in the coming days.

Schlupp, 23, made 24 Premier League appearances for the Foxes in their title-winning campaign last term.
