A report claims that Stoke City have renewed their interest in West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino by making an improved £20m bid.

West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has been made the subject of a £20m bid by Premier League rivals Stoke City, according to a report.

The 22-year-old is understood to have rejected a new contract at The Hawthorns and is seeking a move away from the club this summer.

Sky Sports News reports that Stoke, who are said to have opened talks with the England Under-21s international last month, have made an improved offer to push through a move.

Berahino, also a rumoured target for Tottenham Hotspur and Championship side Newcastle United, scored four goals in 17 Premier League starts last season after falling out of favour under Tony Pulis.
