Experienced goalkeeper Boaz Myhill has agreed a new one-year contract extension with West Bromwich Albion.

The 33-year-old, who moved to West Brom from Hull City in 2010, had been contracted to the Baggies until next summer, but the deal has now been extended until 2018.

"We're delighted Boaz has agreed a contract extension and we've secured his services for an additional year. Boaz is a great professional and he provides good competition for Ben [Foster]," Baggies boss Tony Pulis told the club's official website.

Nineteen-time Wales international Myhill made 23 Premier League appearances last season as number one Foster struggled with a knee problem.
