Queens Park Rangers attacker Matt Phillips is a summer transfer target for West Bromwich Albion, according to a report.

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly considering a summer move for Queens Park Rangers attacker Matt Phillips.

The Baggies were strongly linked with the 25-year-old last summer, but talks broke down when the two clubs could not agree a price for the Scotland international.

According to The Mirror, QPR wanted £10m for Phillips in the summer of 2015, but that figure has now dropped as the winger prepares to enter the final 12 months of his contract at Loftus Road, prompting interest at The Hawthorns.

Phillips, who was born in England but represents Scotland at international level, started his professional career with Wycombe Wanderers and has also played for Blackpool and Sheffield United.
