West Bromwich Albion defender James Chester speaks out about his frustration at a lack of starts at The Hawthorns.

Centre-back James Chester has conceded that he is frustrated with a lack of starting opportunities at West Bromwich Albion.

The Wales international started just nine Premier League games last term, with a further four appearances coming from the bench.

"I played a bit more in the second half of the season but only once at centre-half," he told The Express.

"Whenever someone was back from injury then I was usually the person who missed out.

"It was frustrating because I feel I'm good enough to play every week in the Premier League. It almost cost me my place in the Wales team."

The 27-year-old has recently been linked with a switch to Swansea City.
