West Bromwich Albion striker Rickie Lambert admits that he could be forced to depart The Hawthorns this summer in search of first-team football.

Rickie Lambert has conceded that he might be forced to leave West Bromwich Albion in this summer's transfer window in search of first-team football.

The 34-year-old, who joined the Baggies from Liverpool last summer, scored just once in 19 appearances during the 2015-16 campaign.

A number of clubs are believed to be interested in taking Lambert on loan, and the former Liverpool striker has refused to rule out a move away from The Hawthorns before the start of the new campaign.

"I'd love to contribute to West Brom, but if not, then I'd have to make a decision and maybe go somewhere else," Lambert told Sky Sports News.

Lambert's West Brom deal is due to expire in June 2017.
