Stoke City reportedly decide that they are not willing to sell midfielder Giannelli Imbula for a cut-price fee.

Stoke City have reportedly decided that they are not prepared to loan out Giannelli Imbula ahead of next season.

The club-record signing has been made available for transfer by manager Mark Hughes after failing to impress in his 18 months in the Potteries.

However, according to The Mirror, Stoke have no intention of letting the 24-year-old leave for a cut-price fee or on a season-long deal.

Nice and Galatasaray have both indicated that they are interested in the player, but it appears that it will take an offer close to the £18.3m which Stoke paid for the Frenchman in February 2016.

Since his arrival, he has made just 28 appearances in all competitions, with his last start coming in an FA Cup fixture with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the start of 2017.
