West Ham United are reportedly on the brink of signing Marko Arnautovic from Stoke City.

Stoke City's Marko Arnautovic is reportedly on the brink of signing for West Ham United and will undergo a medical with the London club on Friday.

The forward will sign a five-year deal with the Hammers for a fee which could rise to around £25m, according to Sky Sports News.

Arnautovic, who has scored 26 goals for the Potters since joining from Werder Bremen for £3m in 2013, will reportedly become West Ham's highest-paid player.

The Austria international handed in a transfer request at the bet365 Stadium earlier this month and subsequently attracted two unsuccessful bids from the Hammers before the club met Stoke's valuation.

Arnautovic will become one of several West Ham newcomers, with the Premier League side recently signing Joe Hart on loan from Manchester City and Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez.
