Dele Alli reflects on "incredible" Tottenham Hotspur career

Dele Alli looks back on an "incredible" time at Tottenham Hotspur following his permanent transfer to Everton on deadline day.

Everton playmaker Dele Alli has bode an emotional farewell to Tottenham Hotspur on social media following his deadline day move to Goodison Park.

The 25-year-old has joined Frank Lampard's side on a two-and-a-half year deal from Spurs, who will reportedly receive £10m once he hits the 20-game mark for the Merseyside club.

Alli struggled for consistent opportunities under both Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte in North London, but the midfielder has taken the time to reflect on an "incredible" stint with the Lilywhites.

"It's the end of the chapter but not the book. I've had an incredible seven years at Tottenham and have made some lifelong friends that now feel like family!" Alli wrote on social media. "I want to wish my brothers all the best for the rest of the season and more.

"To the fans, I want to say thank you. We've had some incredible moments together that will stay with me for the rest of my life and I will never forget the amazing support you have given me. Playing for you was a dream come true and you will always be in my heart.

"I want to give a special mention to Mauricio [Pochettino] and his staff for their trust and guidance in the early part of my career at Spurs, which gave me the confidence and platform to show what I can do. I love you all and wish you the best for the future! Dele out."

Alli leaves Tottenham after registering 67 goals and 61 assists in 269 games for the club in all tournaments and followed Donny van de Beek to Goodison Park on deadline day.
