Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Beraldo during this summer's transfer window, with the European champions said to be open to a sale.
Beraldo, 21, made the move to PSG from Sao Paulo in January 2024, and he has represented the capital giants on 62 occasions, scoring three goals in the process.
Last season, the Brazil international made 33 appearances for PSG, including 25 outings in Ligue 1, while he featured five times for Luis Enrique's side at the 2025 Club World Cup.
There is currently speculation surrounding Beraldo's future, with PSG thought to be willing to sell him for the right price, and there is said to be interest from England in the shape of Man United.
According to Fichajes, the Red Devils believe that Beraldo represents a solid market opportunity and are therefore exploring a deal for the South American during the summer transfer window.
Man United 'eyeing summer move' for Beraldo
The report claims that PSG want to strengthen their back line this summer, and the club were disappointed with the defender's performance in the Club World Cup final against Chelsea.
Man United are said to be weighing up a firm offer, although the size of the potential transfer bid has not been disclosed.
Beraldo is valued at €25m (£21.7m) by Transfermarkt, although it would take a bigger fee than that to sign him considering the first-team exposure that he has received since making the move to the Paris giants.
How are Man United's centre-back options shaping up for 2025-26?
Man United released Victor Lindelof at the end of June, while Jonny Evans retired, so there is space in the squad for a senior centre-back to arrive during this summer's transfer window.
That said, the Red Devils are well-stocked in that area of the field, with Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Ayden Heaven, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire all first-team options for the new campaign.
Martinez is not yet ready to return from a serious knee injury, though, while Heaven, Yoro, Shaw, De Ligt and Maguire all had their fitness problems during what was a very difficult 2024-25 campaign.
