Manchester United and Liverpool could reportedly go head-to-head for the signature of Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Andre during this summer's transfer window.
The 24-year-old moved to Wolves from Fluminense last August, and he represented his English side on 36 occasions during the 2024-25 campaign, including 33 outings in England's top flight.
Andre has a contract at Molineux until June 2029, but there is currently a host of speculation surrounding his future, with a number of clubs believed to be interested in his signature.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Man United and Liverpool are both keen, with the rivals potentially battling for his signature during the summer market.
The report claims that Andre could potentially be available for as little as £30m, representing a bargain considering his impressive form during the 2024-25 campaign.
Man United, Liverpool 'to battle' for Wolves star Andre
Andre completed 93% of his passes in the Premier League last summer, according to Sofascore, showing his excellent ability on the ball, while he also won 59% of his duels.
The midfielder scored four goals and registered four assists in 197 appearances for Fluminense ahead of his move to Wolves, and he could now secure a switch to one of England's biggest clubs.
Man United are believed to be keen to sign a new central midfielder this summer, with Christian Eriksen leaving on a free transfer, while Liverpool are also said to be looking to improve in that area of the field.
Andre has shown that he is capable of excelling in the top flight of English football, and considering his age and alleged price tag, he could be a bargain signing during the summer market.
Who has been busier this summer, Man United or Liverpool?
Man United have only made two signings during this summer's transfer window, bringing in Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon from Wolves and Cerro Porteno respectively.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have made six signings, three of which have been goalkeepers, but they have also brought in Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong.
Both Man United and Liverpool are also looking to sign a new centre-forward this summer, with the latter currently being linked with Newcastle United's Alexander Isak and Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike.
