Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho is reportedly on the verge of making the move to Juventus, with the Old Lady set to sign the Englishman on a permanent basis.
Sancho had a successful loan spell at Chelsea last season, scoring five goals and registering 10 assists in 41 appearances, but the Blues could not come to an agreement with the forward over a permanent move this summer.
The 25-year-old's Man United career is over, and his agent has been in discussions with a number of clubs during the current transfer window.
Juventus, though, have recently emerged as the favourites for the forward, and according to TEAMtalk, the Old Lady are now close to signing the ex-Manchester City youngster on a permanent basis.
The report claims that the Turin giants have come to an agreement with Sancho over a four-year contract worth £5.2m per season plus bonuses, so he will be taking a significant wage cut to join the Italian team.
Sancho 'set to join Juventus in £15m deal'
Juventus will allegedly pay £15m for the Englishman, with Man United agreeing to reduce their £25m asking price.
Sancho made the move to Old Trafford from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021, and he has represented the Red Devils on 83 occasions, scoring 12 goals and registering six assists in the process.
The forward has shown flashes of his quality during his time in Manchester, but the breakdown in his relationship with ex-Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag led to him spending the second half of the 2023-24 campaign back on loan with Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho then represented Chelsea on loan last term, and again he showed his quality in patches, but the London club were not prepared to meet his wage demands.
Juventus have also been linked with Rashford
Juventus have also been credited with an interest in Rashford this summer, but it is difficult to imagine the Englishman making the move to Turin alongside Sancho.
Man United want £40m for Rashford, who is also being linked with Barcelona, but his wages, which are in the region of £300,000 a week, make an exit complicated.
Alejandro Garnacho and Antony are also both expected to leave the 20-time English champions during this summer's transfer window, with Man United revamping their attack.
Matheus Cunha has already been brought in from Wolverhampton Wanderers, while the Red Devils have submitted a third bid worth £70m for Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo.
Ruben Amorim's side are also expected to sign a new centre-forward this summer, with Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins and Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson both believed to be on their radar.
