Manchester United could move for Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka this summer, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka during this summer's transfer window.

The Red Devils appear to be on the verge of securing a deal for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, and the club are also believed to be keen to sign a new centre-back ahead of next season.

However, a new midfielder is also thought to be a priority for head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with Juventus's Adrien Rabiot seemingly emerging as a potential option.

According to Bild, there is interest from the 20-time English champions in Goretzka, who scored eight times and provided nine assists in 32 appearances at club level during the 2020-21 campaign.

The 26-year-old's current deal at the Allianz Arena is due to expire next June, although the German champions have allegedly opened talks over a possible extension.

Goretzka, who made three appearances for Germany at Euro 2020, has featured on 112 occasions for Bayern since arriving at the club from Schalke 04 in July 2018.
