Saudi outfit Neom SC have reportedly had 'major discussions' with the representatives of Andre Onana with a view to signing the Manchester United goalkeeper during this summer's transfer window.
Neom have earned promotion from the Saudi First Division, with the club therefore set to compete in the Saudi Pro League next term, and it is understood that Pericles Chamusca's team have major plans for the upcoming market.
Kevin De Bruyne, who is leaving Manchester City this summer, has been linked with a move to Neom, and according to FootMercato, Man United goalkeeper Onana is also a major target for the club.
The report claims that Neom have had 'major discussions' with Onana's representatives, and there is hope that a deal could go through in the upcoming market, with the Red Devils open to a sale.
The Cameroonian made the move to Old Trafford from Inter Milan in July 2023, and he was brought to the club with a view to changing the team's playing style due to his ability in possession, but it has been a struggle for the stopper.

Neom 'in talks' over move for Man United's Onana
Onana has only kept 10 clean sheets in 45 appearances for Man United this term, and he has once again made a number of high-profile mistakes, most recently against Lyon in the Europa League.
The 29-year-old was dropped against Newcastle United in the Premier League off the back of his poor display against Lyon in France, but he was brought back into the team for the second leg at Old Trafford.
Onana has a contract with Ruben Amorim's side until June 2028, but it is understood that he will be allowed to leave the 20-time English champions for the right price this summer, with Man United in the market for a replacement.

Could Onana move to Saudi Arabia?
The Man United goalkeeper allegedly has no plans to leave Old Trafford, but the situation will be different if the Red Devils make it clear that they are looking to move him on.
There is believed to be interest from Italy, as the stopper's stock is high in Serie A due to his excellent form for Inter Milan, but he would have to take a wage drop in order to secure a move back to Italy's top division.
Onana could earn an astronomical salary by moving to the Saudi Pro League, though, and he may want to come out of the spotlight due to the intense criticism that he faces on a weekly basis at Man United.
The Red Devils may have to revamp their entire first-team goalkeeping department this summer, as number three Tom Heaton is out of contract, while number two Altay Bayindir is also being linked with an exit.
Onana is set to remain as Man United's number one for the remainder of the campaign, and the Red Devils will continue their Premier League season against Bournemouth on Sunday before a gigantic game against Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League semi-finals next week.
