Everton will have to pay £35m if they wish to sign Juventus centre-back Merih Demiral this summer, according to a report.

Everton will reportedly have to come up with an offer of €40m (£35m) if they wish to sign Juventus centre-back Merih Demiral during this summer's transfer window.

The 23-year-old only made 15 Serie A appearances during the 2020-21 campaign and is expected to leave the Italian champions in the current market.

Manchester United have been linked with the Turkey international, but it is believed that the strongest interest from the Premier League is arriving from Everton.

According to Goal, Rafael Benitez's side will have to pay €40m (£35m) in order to bring the centre-back to Goodison Park in the current market.

The report claims that returning Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri will have the final say on whether Demiral leaves, but the defender is not thought to be in the Italian's plans moving forward.

Demiral, who made 24 appearances for the Old Lady in all competitions last term, still has three years left to run on his contract in Turin.
