Manchester United reportedly still plan to sell Antony during this summer's transfer window despite the attacker's excellent form on loan at Real Betis.

Manchester United are reportedly not considering reintroducing Antony into their squad next season, with the Brazilian set to leave Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.

Antony has reignited his career on loan at Real Betis, scoring seven goals and registering four assists in 20 appearances for the La Liga club since making the move to Seville during the January market.

There have recently been claims that the 25-year-old's form could lead to Man United bringing him back into the first team next season.

However, according to Football Insider, there will not be another chance for the Brazilian at Old Trafford, with the 20-time English champions already making the decision to sell him in the upcoming market.

Antony's form for Real Betis translates into excellent news for Man United ahead of the summer window, with the club believed to be hopeful of securing a transfer fee in the region of £35m.

Man United 'will sell' Antony this summer

The forward scored 24 goals and registered 22 assists in 82 appearances for Ajax before making the move to Man United in 2022, with Erik ten Hag pushing hard to bring the forward with him from Amsterdam.

However, Antony has only managed 12 goals and five assists in 96 matches for Man United, with the Brazilian finding it difficult to make his mark in the Premier League, but he has shown his quality in Seville.

The attacker has said on multiple occasions that he is happier with the lifestyle in Seville, with the player also not believed to be looking to return to Manchester this summer.

Which club will Antony join this summer?

Real Betis are in the driving seat, but Manuel Pellegrini's side will surely need to secure Champions League football for next season in order to be in a position to sign him during the summer market.

The Green and Whites are sixth in the La Liga table, one point behind fifth-placed Villarreal, while they are also chasing silverware this season, with the second leg of their Conference League semi-final against Fiorentina taking place on Thursday night.

Atletico Madrid have also emerged as an interesting option, though, and it would be very difficult for Antony to turn down Diego Simeone's side if they made an offer during the summer market.

Man United are in a position to hold firm on their valuation due to Antony's form, and all of the signs are currently pointing towards him moving to Spain's top flight on a permanent basis this summer.

However, a number of clubs from Serie A are also believed to be keeping a close eye on developments.
