Whether they have won the title, secured promotion, endured mid-table mediocrity or suffered relegation, clubs across the globe are sure to have already identified top targets to strengthen their squads ahead of delving into summer transfer window.
While a number of big-money deals are expected to materialise, it is difficult to ignore the impressive list of high-profile players who will be available for free when their contracts expire at the end of June.
German defender Jonathan Tah is one of those who has bid farewell to Bayer Leverkusen and has completed a move to Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich, putting pen to paper on a four-year deal.
Here, Sports Mole takes a look at five more soon-to-be free agents and which clubs they could join this summer.

The 26-year-old initially received boos from the Anfield faithful following his announcement to leave his boyhood club upon the expiration of his contract, but the right-back was brought to tears as he received a hero's farewell from the Reds when lifting the Premier League trophy.
Alexander-Arnold is bringing his two-decade-long association with Liverpool to an end and has said that he is in need of a "new change" and a "new challenge" as he approaches the prime years of his career.
The England international is widely expected to complete a high-profile move to Real Madrid, now managed by Xabi Alonso, and Los Blancos are believed to be hopeful of signing him early, in time for the FIFA Club World Cup which begins on June 14.
Kevin De Bruyne

After enjoying a trophy-laden decade at the Etihad Stadium, Kevin De Bruyne is leaving Manchester City who have opted against offering the soon-to-be 34-year-old a new contract.
The legendary playmaker had initially been linked with a move to MLS with either Inter Miami or Chicago Fire, as well as clubs competing in the Saudi Pro League.
However, De Bruyne has regularly insisted that he is keen to continue playing at the highest level and it now seems as if the six-time Premier League winner could continue his club career in sky blue.
Indeed, Serie A champions Napoli are thought to be at the front of the queue for De Bruyne's signature and their club president Aurelio De Laurentiis recently admitted that the Belgian will "probably" join having already bought a family home in Italy.
Cristiano Ronaldo

At the ripe old age of 40, Cristano Ronaldo continues to bang in the goals for Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Nassr, most recently scoring his 800th career goal in a 3-2 loss to Al Fateh last weekend.
After the match, Ronaldo hinted at a departure from Al-Nassr with a post on social media, which read: "This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all."
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is believed to be open to the possibility of joining a new club competing at this summer's FIFA Club World Cup, a competition that he has won five times in the past.
Recent reports claim that Ronaldo has received an offer from Al-Nassr's Saudi rivals Al-Hilal, and should the Portuguese icon decide to join them, he would come up against former club Real Madrid in the group stage of the Club World Cup.
Jonathan David

One of Europe's most prolific strikers is available to be snapped up for free in the form of Jonathan David, who is leaving Ligue 1 side Lille after scoring 25 goals in 49 games in the 2024-25 campaign.
Barcelona are one of a plethora of top clubs who have been credited with an interest in the Canada international, who has admitted that he would like to test himself in La Liga "one day".
Premier League clubs including Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and West Ham United have also been linked with David, but Corriere dello Sport claims that Serie A champions Napoli have reached a verbal agreement with the 25-year-old.
Leroy Sane

Could a Premier League return be on the cards for Leroy Sane? The German winger recently switched agents and is understood to have turned down a contract extension at Bayern Munich that would have kept him at the club until 2028.
Europa League winners Tottenham Hotspur will be competing in next season's Champions League and they have allegedly been offered the chance to sign Sane, who spent four years at Man City before joining Bayern in 2020.
However, they could face stern competition from North London rivals Arsenal, as The Telegraph claims that the Gunners have made enquiries for the 29-year-old, who worked under Mikel Arteta during their time together at Man City.
