Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Ralf Rangnick will choose his first Manchester United XI on Sunday afternoon, as the Red Devils welcome Crystal Palace to Old Trafford in the Premier League.

The club's new interim manager will need to assess the fitness of the players that featured in Thursday's 3-2 win over Arsenal at Old Trafford; Cristiano Ronaldo came off late against the Gunners but is expected to be passed fit in time for the clash with the Eagles.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka might come back into contention after missing the game with Arsenal due to a hand injury, but Diogo Dalot could keep his spot due to his impressive performance on Thursday, while Alex Telles should continue at left-back even if Luke Shaw is passed fit following a head injury.

Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane will again definitely be absent for the Red Devils, while Nemanja Matic and Edinson Cavani are expected to be unavailable for selection.

As a result, it would not be a surprise to see Rangnick name the same side that started against Arsenal, with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho again featuring in the wide areas.

Man United have a pressure-free Champions League clash against Young Boys next week, having already advanced to the next round of the competition as section winners, so wholesale changes are expected in that contest, with the likes of Jesse Lingard, Donny van de Beek and Anthony Martial set to feature.

Fred overcame a difficult first half against Arsenal to star in the second period, and the Brazil international is expected to be an important player under Rangnick due to his energetic style.

Manchester United possible starting lineup: De Gea; Dalot, Lindelof, Maguire, Telles; McTominay, Fred; Sancho, Fernandes, Rashford; Ronaldo
