Manchester United will assess the conditions of four players ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
Scott McTominay, Christian Eriksen and Sergio Reguilon all missed Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Eagles in the EFL Cup third round due to illness, while Lisandro Martinez was not risked due to a minor foot problem, but the Red Devils quartet could be available for selection this weekend.
However, Erik ten Hag is still having to cope without both Antony (leave of absence) and Jadon Sancho (disciplinary reasons), as well as injured quintet Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia (all muscle), Amad Diallo (knee) and Kobbie Mainoo (ankle).
Should Martinez and Reguilon pass a late fitness test, the defensive duo could return to the starting lineup at centre-back and left-back respectively, joining Diogo Dalot and Raphael Varane in the back four that will protect goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Harry Maguire would therefore drop to the substitutes' bench, while Sofyan Amrabat – who made his Man United debut as a makeshift left-back in midweek – could be handed his first Premier League start in midfield alongside Casemiro; Mason Mount is also in contention to start after recovering from a hamstring injury to play the first 45 minutes on Tuesday.
Bruno Fernandes is expected to start either in the number 10 role or on the right flank, while Alejandro Garnacho and Anthony Martial will both be hoping to retain their places in the first XI after scoring in midweek.
Garnacho or Facundo Pellistri could begin on the right if Marcus Rashford starts on his favoured left wing, but Martial is likely to be replaced up front by summer signing Rasmus Hojlund.
Manchester United possible starting lineup: Onana; Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Reguilon; Casemiro, Amrabat; Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund
