Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Aston Villa could line up for Sunday's Premier League showdown with Manchester United at Villa Park.

Aston Villa will once again be without captain Jack Grealish when Manchester United visit Villa Park in the Premier League on Sunday.

The talismanic midfielder will miss a 12th successive match with a shin injury, although he is expected back in training next week and could be in contention for Thursday's match against Everton.

Morgan Sanson is also nearing a return from injury for Dean Smith's side, but Sunday's match comes too soon for him, while Trezeguet is set for a long spell on the sidelines after undergoing knee surgery.

Anwar El Ghazi could be a beneficiary of Trezeguet's injury, and the winger will expect to start once again after his winner against Everton last time out.

Indeed, Smith could name an unchanged starting XI from that win over Everton, including the same defence despite Villa being on the longest run without a clean sheet in the Premier League - seven games.

At the other end, Ollie Watkins needs just one more goal to equal Julian Joachim's club record of 14 goals by an Englishman in a single Premier League season.

Remarkably, seven of his 13 Premier League goals to date have come against the established 'big six', more than any other player has managed against the clubs involved in the attempted Super League breakaway this season.

Aston Villa possible starting lineup: Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Mings, Targett; Luiz, McGinn; Traore, Barkley, El Ghazi; Watkins
