Manchester United will be aiming to extend a 14-year Premier League unbeaten streak when Southampton pay a visit to Old Trafford on Saturday lunchtime.

The Red Devils have lost vital ground in the top-four race after being held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley, with Jay Rodriguez cancelling out Paul Pogba's opener.

Ralf Rangnick also oversaw a disheartening home defeat to Middlesbrough in the FA Cup last Friday, but February has generally been kind to Man United at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Should Man United manage to avoid defeat against the Saints, they will extend their unbeaten Premier League home run in February to 14 years since a 2-1 loss to Manchester City in the 2007-08 season.

Since then, the Red Devils have won 18 and drawn five of their 23 February home games in the top flight, and the only other time that they suffered a league defeat at Old Trafford in this month was to Middlesbrough in February 2004.

Rangnick's side enter the contest lying in sixth in the table but will temporarily move back up to fourth with all three points against the Saints.
