Diogo Dalot, Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee all trained with Manchester United on Tuesday morning, fuelling suggestions that the trio will be involved in the Red Devils squad for the Europa League final.

Zirkzee was initially ruled out for the season when he suffered a hamstring injury against Newcastle United in the Premier League on April 13, but the Netherlands international did recently hint that he had a chance of being available for the showdown event against Tottenham Hotspur.

Dalot, meanwhile, has been sidelined of late due to a troublesome calf issue, with the Portugal international missing the team's last six matches in all competitions.

There was huge concern regarding Yoro when the Frenchman limped off against West Ham United in the Premier League on May 11, particularly considering that the injury was to the same foot that kept him out in the opening months of the season.

Dalot, Yoro, Zirkzee return to Man United training

However, in a major boost for the Red Devils, Dalot, Yoro and Zirkzee were all able to train on Tuesday morning.

Man United's travelling squad for the contest in Bilbao, Spain, will be named on Tuesday afternoon, and it would now be surprising if the trio were not included in the party considering their return to the training field.

Dalot and Yoro have been vital players for Amorim since his arrival, while Zirkzee had been finding his feet for the Red Devils before picking up a hamstring issue, which left Rasmus Hojlund as the only senior option through the middle.

Hojlund has continued to struggle, but the Denmark international is set to start through the middle against Spurs, as Zirkzee will surely not be deemed ready to feature from the first whistle.

Zirkzee's return will hand Amorim another option in the final third of the field, though, and he could yet have a key role to play in the destination of the Europa League trophy, as two Premier League strugglers battle for the trophy.

Will De Ligt be back for the Europa League final?

Matthijs de Ligt's absence from the squad that will travel to Bilbao has not been confirmed, but the Dutchman was not a part of Tuesday morning's training session, suggesting that he will be unavailable.

Lisandro Martinez, meanwhile, is out for the remainder of the year due to a serious knee injury.

Man United have had a disastrous domestic season, sitting down in 16th spot in the Premier League table, but they would qualify for the 2025-26 Champions League by winning the Europa League title.
