Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick insists that Wednesday's Champions League clash with Young Boys is an important match.

Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has insisted that Wednesday's Champions League clash with Young Boys is still an important fixture for the club.

The Red Devils have already booked their spot in the last-16 stage of the European Cup as Group F winners, and Rangnick has said that he will make changes to his starting XI, with Dean Henderson, Donny van de Beek and Nemanja Matic already being confirmed as starters against the Swiss outfit.

However, the German has insisted that it is crucial to maintain a winning habit, and the new head coach is targeting another victory on Wednesday.

"I haven't finally decided, to be honest. It definitely makes sense that we rest a few players due to the crowded fixture list over the next few weeks and months," Rangnick told reporters.

"We need to make sure we have enough recovery as possible, also for the Premier League, but, on the other hand, we need to keep our positive momentum.

"Our ethos is to win games, even if we maybe play with a few new players, fresh players, it's still important we win the game. We definitely want to win the game."

Man United will be bidding to make it three Premier League victories in a row when they head to basement outfit Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.
