Crystal Palace will be bidding to provide an upset when they tackle Manchester City in the 2025 FA Cup final.

The Eagles are aiming to win the FA Cup for the first time in their history; twice the team have reached the final, including in 2016, when they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United at Wembley Stadium.

Palace were excellent in the semi-finals of the competition, recording a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa, while they also comfortably dispatched Fulham in the quarter-finals, winning 3-0 at Craven Cottage.

Oliver Glasner's side have been full of goals in this season's tournament, scoring 12 times, but they will be the underdogs heading into the final against a Man City outfit that are bidding to win the competition for the eighth time.

The Citizens suffered a defeat to Man United in last season's final, but they will be fired-up to triumph this time around, particularly considering their troubles in the Premier League this term.

Pep Guardiola's side beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the semi-finals of the competition, while they famously put eight goals past League Two Salford City in the early stages of the tournament back in January.

Here, Sports Mole provides the lowdown on when and where the 2025 FA Cup final will take place, as well as how to watch it and who the favourites are to lift the prestigious trophy.

The 2025 FA Cup final between Palace and Man City will take place on Saturday, 17 May at Wembley Stadium in London.

Wembley Stadium opened in 2007 on the site of the original Wembley, which had stood between 1923 and 2003; the ground is England's national football stadium, and it has a capacity of 90,000.

Kickoff for the FA Cup final is scheduled for 4.30pm BST.
