Now that the title-winning dust has settled, Championship champions Leeds United are tirelessly preparing for a highly-anticipated return to Premier League football for the 2025-26 campaign.

The Yorkshire club will enter the new campaign under the guidance of Daniel Farke, who saw his position called into question at the end of last term despite guiding Leeds to the top flight.

Having been given the vote of confidence, Farke will hope to assemble a strong squad that can compete in the Premier League next season.

The Yorkshire club have already strengthened their backline with Jaka Bijol and Sebastian Bornauw, while Lukas Nmecha has been added to Farke's forward options.

They have until the September 1 deadline to make further additions, but they will be keen to get more players through the door before they start the new season against Everton on August 18.

Leeds are reportedly pushing for the capture of Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff, who has spent the past two decades at the North-East giants.
