Inter Miami reportedly intend to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Leonardo Campana on a permanent deal.
Since moving to Molineux in January 2020, Campana has not made a single first-team appearance for the Premier League outfit.
Instead, loan periods have been spent at Famalicao, Grasshopper Zurich and Inter Miami, the first two stints proving to be relatively unsuccessful.
After contributing two goals in 10 games for Portuguese side Famalicao, Campana scored just three times in 15 outings for Swiss side Grasshopper.

However, the Ecuador international has transformed his career in the MLS, helping Inter Miami earn a spot in the playoffs for the first time in their history.
In total, the 22-year-old contributed 11 strikes and one assist in 26 appearances, putting himself in the running for a number of individual accolades.
According to MLS Insider Tom Bogert, Inter Miami have been left convinced about Campana's current ability and overall potential, leading to them wanting to activate their buy clause.
When a deal was negotiated with Wolves at the start of 2022, the clubs settled on a potential future fee of $2.7m (£2.3m).

While Wolves stand to make a profit on the transfer, Inter Miami will also feel that they have acquired a player whose value will only continue to rise during his time in Florida.
The report adds that Inter Miami may hit their budget limits with regards to young designated players should they push through with their current plan.
Campana is currently hoping to be selected for Ecuador's 26-man squad for the upcoming World Cup having already earned 12 caps.
However, he has made just two appearances since the 2021 Copa America, while he did not feature in the squad for the final two matches before the tournament in Qatar last month.
