Ghana vs. Uruguay: How do both squads compare ahead of World Cup clash?

Sports Mole looks at how the squads of Ghana and Uruguay compare ahead of Friday's World Cup clash between the two sides.

Seeking to secure a place in the knockout stages of the World Cup for the first time since 2010, Ghana lock horns with Uruguay at the Al Janoub Stadium on Friday.

Following a 3-2 defeat in last week's group opener against Portugal, the Black Stars got their campaign back on track four days later as they claimed a hard-fought 3-2 victory over South Korea at the Education City Stadium.

While Otto Addo's side sit second in the group and in pole position to finish as runners-up, Uruguay have picked up just one point from a possible six and need nothing less than a win to keep their slim qualification hopes alive.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the squad of Ghana and Uruguay stack up against each other ahead of Friday's contest.
