Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news and rumours today, including Leroy Sane to Galatasaray and Mohammed Kudus to Newcastle United.

Galatasaray are reportedly in pole position to sign Leroy Sane on a free transfer from Bayern Munich.

There has recently been a host of speculation surrounding the Germany international's future, as his contract at Allianz Arena is due to expire at the end of the month.

Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool, have been credited with an interest in his services, but according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray are now closing in on a deal.

Romano claims that the Turkish giants are 'optimistic' and 'confident' when it comes to a deal, with negotiations over a switch to the club believed to be at an advanced stage.

The 29-year-old has scored 61 goals and registered 55 assists in 220 appearances for Bayern, but he has been unable to come to an agreement with the Bundesliga champions over a new deal.

West Ham United's Mohammed Kudus on May 18, 2025

Newcastle 'considering move' for West Ham's Kudus

Elsewhere, Newcastle United are reportedly giving serious consideration to making a move for West Ham United attacker Mohammed Kudus during this summer's transfer window.

The Magpies had allegedly identified Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo as their leading attacking target this summer, but Manchester United appear to have won the race for his signature.

Kudus is now believed to be firmly on Newcastle's radar, with West Ham seemingly prepared to sell him.

According to Football Insider, Newcastle now view him as their first choice down the right, with Kudus largely impressing since making the move to the Premier League.

The 24-year-old made 35 appearances for West Ham during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring five goals and registering four assists in the process.

Meanwhile, he has an overall record of 19 goals and 13 assists in 80 appearances for the Hammers since making the switch to the London Stadium in the summer of 2023.

Southampton's Aaron Ramsdale on April 12, 2025

West Ham 'eyeing loan deal' for Ramsdale

Meanwhile, according to Football Insider, West Ham are looking to complete a loan deal for Aaron Ramsdale, who is set to leave Southampton this summer.

The Hammers are thought to be in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer, and Ramsdale is expected to leave Southampton following their relegation back to the Championship.

West Ham could allegedly struggle to complete a permanent deal for Ramsdale due to the transfer fee that would be required, but a loan deal is seen as a possibility for Graham Potter's team.

The London club are thought to be willing to cover Ramsdale's wages and also pay a significant loan fee, while there may also be the option to sign him on a permanent basis at the end of the campaign.

Ramsdale made the move to St Mary's from Arsenal during last summer's transfer window, and he featured on 32 occasions for the Saints during the 2024-25 campaign, conceding 68 goals in the process.
