Another week passes without an eagerly-awaited transfer announcement from Fulham, who remain the only team competing in the 2025-26 Premier League without a single new arrival to their name in the summer transfer window.
Instead, the only serious movement at Craven Cottage has been on the outgoings front, as Brazilian pair Carlos Vinicius and Willian both left as free agents at the end of their contracts, while Reiss Nelson went back to Arsenal following his loan spell.
However, the latter is now said to be in talks over a second spell with Marco Silva's side, although the negotiations are centred around a loan deal rather than a permanent switch for the Hale End graduate.
A shock reunion with former midfielder Joao Palhinha - now donning the Bayern Munich kit - has also been mooted, although the Cottagers have reinforced their midfield for 2025-26 by agreeing a contract extension with the long-serving Tom Cairney.
There is only a week to go until Fulham fly out to Portugal for a summer training camp, though, and Silva will no doubt want any prospective new signings to join the ranks in time for their first pre-season friendly versus Nottingham Forest on July 26.
