Celtic have reportedly been given permission to speak to Nordsjaelland winger Benjamin Nygren over a transfer.
Nygren has scored 35 goals and provided eight assists in 107 competitive appearances since he joined Nordsjaelland from Genk in January 2022.
The 23-year-old caught the eye with his impressive performances during the 2024-25 campaign, racking up 16 goals and four assists in 32 matches across all competitions.
Celtic have identified the winger as a potential target, as they look to bolster Brendan Rodgers's attacking options ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
According to Sky Sports News, the Scottish champions have now been granted permission to speak to the Sweden international over a move to Celtic Park.
The update claims that Celtic are in talks with the player's representatives with a view to reaching an agreement over personal terms.
Celtic will then look to negotiate a fee with Nordsjaelland for a player who is out of contract at the end of 2025.
Brighton reject Enciso offer
Meanwhile, Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly turned down a bid from Porto for attacker Julio Enciso.
The 21-year-old faces an uncertain future at the Amex Stadium after spending the second half of last season on loan at Ipswich Town.
Brighton appear to be open to the prospect of selling Enciso this summer, especially as he is set to enter the final 12 months of his contract.
However, according to journalist Andres Rolon, the Seagulls have rejected an official offer from Porto for the Paraguay international.
While a figure is not mentioned, it appears that Porto's proposal fell short of Brighton's asking price.
In a further update, Rolon reveals that the Portuguese giants have already submitted an improved offer to Brighton.
Enciso appears keen to complete the move to Portugal, having already reached an agreement over personal terms.
Villarreal agree Moleiro deal
Over in Spain, Villarreal have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Spain Under-21 international Alberto Moleiro from Las Palmas.
Moleiro has made 147 competitive appearances since graduating from Las Palmas' academy system, scoring 13 goals and providing 14 assists.
The 21-year-old scored six goals in 36 La Liga matches in 2024-25, but he could not help keep his beloved Las Palmas in the top flight.
While Las Palmas are preparing for the second tier, Moleiro now looks set to remain in La Liga with Champions League participants Villarreal.
According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Villarreal have reached an agreement with all parties over a deal to sign the highly-rated attacker.
There is a belief that the Yellow Submarine will pay around €15m (£12.8m) to sign a player who is under contract until the summer of 2026.
