Brentford have reportedly earmarked three potential successors for outbound head coach Thomas Frank.
The Dane has spent over six years at the West London club but is edging towards a switch across the English capital this summer.
Frank is supposedly in the final stages of talks to become the new manager at Tottenham Hotspur, who sacked Ange Postecoglou despite their Europa League triumph last month.
It is said that the Bees boss has agreed to take the reins in North London, where the Lilywhites will be turning out in the Champions League next season.
As a result, Brentford are in the market for a new manager ahead of the 2025-26 term, one in which they will aim to compete for a European spot.
Brentford's 'three-man shortlist' with Frank set to depart
According to TBR Football, Brentford have a number of names on their shortlist as possible replacements for Spurs-bound Frank.
Firstly, the report states that the top-flight Bees are massive admirers of Kieran McKenna, who is preparing for a campaign in the Championship with Ipswich Town.
After guiding the Tractor Boys from League One to the Premier League in just two years, the Northern Irishman was linked with potential roles at Manchester United, Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion last summer.
As well as the impressive McKenna, Brentford are also supposedly fond of Liam Rosenior, who enjoyed a stellar campaign in charge of Strasbourg in France during 2024-25.
There is also said to be the possibility of the Bees promoting externally, with first-team coach Justin Cochrane an option for the Londoners.
Is Frank ready for a Spurs saga?
Managing Danish side Brondby and Premier League minnows Brentford so far in his career on the club scene, Frank is hardly overqualified for the Tottenham gig.
The soft-spoken 51-year-old will need to deal with big egos and names in the dressing room of the North London club next term.
There is also the challenge of competing with Europe's best sides in the Champions League, pitting his wits against elite-level coaches.
