Lille midfielder Renato Sanches, who has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool, reportedly dreams of a move to Barcelona.

Lille midfielder Renato Sanches is reportedly desperate to join Barcelona during this summer's transfer window.

The 23-year-old has got his career back on track in France and was in impressive form at club level during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring once and providing four assists in 29 appearances.

Sanches also enjoyed a strong Euro 2020 for Portugal, and a number of clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool, are said to be competing for his signature in the current market.

Barcelona have also been credited with an interest, and according to L'Equipe, the Portuguese 'dreams' of making the move to Camp Nou.

However, Lille are said to value the midfielder at €35m (£30m), meaning that the Catalan giants are unlikely to be able to sign him this summer due to their financial problems.

There have been suggestions that Barcelona could attempt to take Sanches on loan for the 2021-22 campaign with a view to a permanent move, although Les Dogues are unlikely to accept those terms.
